Car Bomb Kills 34 in Somali Mogadishu Capital
at least 34 people were killed and about 50 wounded in a car bomb explosion in the Somali capital Mogadishu.
Officials say the car exploded in the southern city district of the city.
The blast – which occurred through the shops and food stalls – is the first major attack in the capital since the election of President Mohammad Abdullah Mohammed earlier this month.
No group claimed responsibility, although the young fighters is likely to be the main suspects.
On Saturday he pledged a senior leader of the youth movement to target supporters of the president.
