Said Ephraim Mirvis instead of rebuilding trust with the Jewish community building,
caused Mr. Corbin “biggest concern.”
During his speech, Mr. Corbin said Jews “no more responsibility” for the actions of Israel from the Muslims were for
“those various Islamic countries, calling itself”.
Mr. Corbin denied time later he was comparing Israel’s so-called Islamic state.
However, he said the former Chief Rabbi Lord Jonathan Sacks his voice to complain that appeared
Mr. Corbin compared to the state of Israel to the so-called Islamic State (IS),
describing it as “the demonization of the first class, and anger and unacceptable.”
Mr Corbin said: “We have Jewish friends are no more responsible for the actions of Israel,
the Netanyahu government of our Muslim friends are for those various Islamic countries or organizations that call themselves.”
Asked later if he was comparing Israel to a terrorist group, said Mr. Corbin:
“No, no, of course I do not point in the report is that you should not say to someone just because they are Jews,
for you must have an opinion in Israel. More than I say anyone who is a Muslim should have a say in any despicable act that was taken by misquoting the reputation of Islam.
I just ask people to be respectful and inclusive in their discussions.
