Gunmen take hostages in Bangladeshi capital Dhaka
Several foreigners among the detainees, eight or nine armed men in Gulshan area of the city,

A statement issued by the news agency as a self-styled group Amaq Gunmen attacked the restaurant “frequented by foreigners.”
He said that more than 20 people “of different nationalities”
were killed but did not confirm that.
Security forces say they are trying to negotiate the release of hostages.
Initial reports that at least 20 foreigners were among those captured.
A source at the Italian Foreign Ministry believes
that the Italian citizens to be one of them, citing Reuters
