Boy dies on Kansas water slide billed as world’s biggest
Old boy 10 years on the water slide has died,
described as the largest in the US state of Kansas in the world.
A spokeswoman for the Schlitterbahn water park in Kansas City
was saddened by the death and the park was closed pending investigation.
The incident occurred on Sunday, riding on Verrueckt,
which drops the user almost 169 feet (52 meters) in a 65mph (105kph) in a three-person raft.
There were no details immediately about the circumstances of the incident.
However, Kansas State Police handled an incident she said.
“We honestly do not know what happened,”
said a spokeswoman for Schlitterbahn Winter Prosapio. “That is why it is necessary to conduct a full investigation. We need to understand what happened.”
A boy has been identified by his family as Caleb Schwab,
state politician’s son, Scott Schwab.
