Officials say at least 59 people, students and guards were killed in an attack by gunmen on a police college in the Pakistani city of Quetta.
Three gunmen wearing suicide vests entered the college late on Monday, said the taking of hostages.
And a major security operation lasted for hours and had all the attackers were killed.
He said the so-called Islamic State (IS) said its fighters carried out the attack,
although officials have blamed another militant group, Lashkar-e-Jhangvi.
Quetta, the capital of Baluchistan province,
