Sex robots: Experts debate the rise of the love droids
Do you have sex with a robot? Should you marry one?
The robot will have the right to say no to this union?
These are just a few of the questions raised in the second love and sex with robots conference hastily arranged at Goldsmiths University in London,
after the government announced in Malaysia – the original site – blocked.
It has been proven controversial, not only for the countries overlooking the province.
There were no representatives of the sex industry in attendance,
not robots sex on the screen, prompting some to question the point of the event.
He claimed RealDolls, a California-based company that makes sex toys lifelike,
they will release a improved artificial intelligence sex doll next year.
Absolutely, and if that happens, it will be proof of Dr. David Levy,
who predicted long ago in the era of smart robots human appearance.
He delivered a closing speech of the conference,
and who has made the issue of Android intimate human relationship.
“We have a companion robots and robot partner is a logical continuation of this trend,” he said.
“-, Patient, kind, loving, trust,
respect and uncomplaining in the next 10 years is something that can be achieved entirely in software to create a companion robot that is everything that people may want to pair,” he said.
“[But] some friction enjoy a relationship may wish to marry Aggressive robot,
and some people will find that exciting.”
The idea of a pair programming raises ethical questions, particularly Dr. Levy admits that the law would be to identify the robot as a person.
It may seem far-fetched but, throughout 2016, was appointed a number of high-level panels with representatives from the technology industry,
academia and governments to deal with such questions only.
As for the rights of any human being in the future, Dr. Levy has a simplistic vision:
“If the robot’s behavior suggests that he wanted to marry, we have to assume that it does.”
